Operating systems
OVH offers a certain number of ready-to-use operating systems and applications, in the form of system images used to start up cloud servers.
Unix and Windows operating systems
The system images are standard operating systems, proposing a minimal base system.
They allow the user to start off with a ready-to-use system, and configure the server straight away to suit their needs.

Pre-installed applications
Pre-installed applications include a basic operating system (usually Linux) as well as a ready-to-use application. They are prepared by OVH to save the user as much time as possible, so that they can use the application directly after starting up the cloud server, also keeping their administrative rights on the server itself.
