A drive for every use
SATA drives
These drives are made for mass data storage, static files and backups. They offer a high storage capacity, with a lower write speed compared to other drives on the market.
SSD disks
These drives have a much high read/write speed than standard SATA drives. They are mainly used for creating database instances.
NVMe drives
Unlike SATA and SSD drives, NVMe drives are attached to a PCI Express x4 slot, providing much higher processing speeds than the SATA3 port.
Optane™ drives
Intel® Optane™ drives are currently the very latest solution on the market, with the highest performance. They can be used the same way as NVMe drives - for example, fast caching for critical databases.
