Security and SLA



OVH Dedicated Cloud contractually guarantees you an SLA of 100% on your infrastructure.

Beyond this, high availability for your virtual machines is provided by virtualisation solutions.




The network

OVH guarantees 100% accessibility on the internal Dedicated Cloud datacentre network, with the exception of scheduled maintenance works which customers will be advised of in advance.

Dedicated Cloud internet connectivity is guaranteed 99.95% of the time, with the exception of scheduled maintenance works which customers will be advised of in advance.

In the event of non-compliance, you get:

  • Network: 5% of the total amount of the next invoice, per 10 minutes of unavailability, limited to 100% of the total invoice amount.
  • Internet connectivity: 5% of the total amount of the next invoice, per hour of unavailablity, limited to 100% of the total invoice amount.



The host servers

OVH guarantees 99.99% availability on the Dedicated Cloud host servers. Any applications hosted on these servers will benefit from this availability, provided that the customer infrastructure meets the minimum requirements.

OVH provides a replacement host under 15 minutes if a host server goes down.

In the event of non-compliance, you get:

  • Compensation for the host server on the next invoice.



Storage

OVH guarantees 100% availability on its storage systems. The system used provides a master datastore and a slave to take over in case it goes down.

In the event of non-compliance, you get:

  • 5% compensation for the amount of storage, per 10 minutes of unavailability





To receive compensation in the event of non-compliance with the SLAs, you need a minimum of two host servers on your Dedicated Cloud, the HA option must be activated and an incident ticket must be open.
