USB Hard disks
If you have a server at Ovh, you can now order more hard disks! We connect hard disk of 500 GB each to your dedicated server!
What is that?
External hard disks connected to your server via USB. These disks offer performances equivalent to a SATA2 disk.
You can attach up to 4 disks per server i.e. 4x 500 GB additional disk space!
To get USB hard disk
You may order your USB hard disks via your Manager .

Additional information
- You can install up to 4 USB disks per server at the maximum.
- If you already have a flash disk, you can only take 3 USB hard disks at the maximum.
- During the setup of your first hard disk, you will have to restart your dedicated server to activate the USB in BIOS.
- Your USB disk is installed on your server (it will not be possible to unplug it later).
Guarantee of your disk
Your USB disk is guaranteed for life. In case of fault, we replace it with a new one (thanks to the MRTG surveillance).To recover the previous disk or its content, we send you upon request the faulty disk by UPS for £250 (299 € TTC).
