FreeDom: Dedicated server

What is this?

You have "Plan" or "Xeon" and you manage you customers'websites.
Each month, you earn more clients and have more domains to manage. You buy domains, configure them on the server and prepare ready-made hosting solutions.

According to your dedicated server, with FreeDom, each month, you may create or transfer new domains to OVH for free. Moreover, the renewal of these domains is free the time of your lease, OVH undertakes to renew domains assigned to your dedicated server. If you already have domains at OVH, you may assign them to your dedicated server and the renewal of these domains will not cost you anything as it becomes at OVH expense.

Available for domains: .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .eu, .fr, .be and .re.

FreeDom is unavailable for .pl domains.

FreeDom is assigned to your hosting. If you resign from your hosting, your FreeDom won't be renewed.

FreeDom is available in:

• France;
• Belgium;
• Luxembourg;
• Canada (Quebec);
• Switzerland.

How to subscribe?

When you order or renew your dedicated server.
The number of FreeDom you are entitled to is defined according to your dedicated server. You may find the information on the description of the offer. i.e., if you order a Superplan 2007, you are entitled to 5 Freedom immediately.

A FreeDom is only available for the domains whom OVH is the registrar. You have to create or transfer the domain at OVH. You may register or transfer domains by using a FreeDom. That way, the renewal and the transfer is at OVH expense.

FreeDom may be only used for 1 single domain.
e.g. you register a domain in Freedom option. Once created, it is assigned to FreeDom account.
Freedom is set with this domain and only this one. If in the future, you do not want to renew this domain at OVH, you will not be able to use the FreeDom for another domain.
If you transfer the domain to another registrar, FreeDom option will be lost and cannot be used for another domain. It doesn't give a right to any discounts.
On the other hand FreeDom is assigned to your domain even if you transferred it to an other registrar. When you transfer the domain back to OVH, your FreeDom option will be reactivated, however, you will be charged the transfer fee.
