With an OVH dedicated server, you can add a 16GB or 32GB USB key. This additional disk space can be used to store your sensitive data or backup your system.

Overview:

The USB key offers 16GB or 32GB disk space, that we directly plug in to your dedicated server.

Uses:

You can save or store your sensitive data and backup specific data.

Your USB key is recognised as any storage device under Windows and as a hard disk under Linux.

Advantages:

Even better the USB keys are fast enough to install the system for your server on it. You will then be able to use your hard disks for the storage of the data only.

Order a USB key:

You can order via your USB Manager v3, from the Dedicated Server tab in the Services section.

For more:

• When installing your first USB key, OVH restarts your dedicated server to activate the USB in the BIOS.
• Your USB key is permanently installed on your server (it cannot be removed).
• Only a single USB key per server can be deployed.
