The Cisco ACE load balancing service distributes the incoming traffic to multiple servers or virtual machines inside your virtual rack.

This is a hardware solution that guarantees full accessibility and facilitates the scalability of your websites or applications.

The Cisco ACE load balancing detects defective servers or VM and automatically excludes them from your "pool", redirecting traffic to other servers or healthy VMs.

Finally, thanks to the system of "sticky groups", load-balancing ACE can link a user to a server/VM in particular, greatly simplifying the problems of sessions.

Use:

With this hardware-based Cisco ACE, you get a complete isolation of your network and your resources are secured within your own "context".

The hardware is managed by OVH and you can configure your load balancing according to your specific needs directly through SSH.

You can:

• distribute traffic HTTP, FTP, DNS, SIP, RTSP, POP/IMAP, ...
• distribute SSL traffic
• define a "weight" for each of your servers or VMs
• configure the monitoring sensors
• manage the NAT / DNAT for your virtual rack
• view statements and performance in SNMP

On the other hand, you get all the "expert" features of the ACE: access control to the servers (ACL), protection against DoS attacks, etc ...
