In which cases should I use the telephone support?

We recommend that you use this service in the following cases:

  • To receive assistance from our technicians
  • To receive access codes (provide invoice/Nichandle number to the technician during the call)
  • To track the progress of your domain transfer
  • To receive answer to any question concerning your domain name
  • To make sure payment was successfully performed
  • To ask question regarding your invoice
  • To receive a copy of a previously paid invoice


Additional information.

When calling, please have the following information in hand in order to successfully perform your request:

  • Nichandle (customer ID)
  • Purchase order or invoice number
  • Your domain/server name

 

Note : Any call must last less than 20 minutes, otherwise it might be interrupted independently from our will : France Telecom defines a fixed duration for calls to telephone numbers beginning with 08.


 



Reminder for the Dedicated Server hosting only:
We remind you that we do not perform any operations on your servers. Our task is to assist you (for instance: installation of a site with OHVM, documentation concerning pre-installed software).

If you would like our technicians to perform any intervention, please contact our commercial support either by email hardware-av@ovh.net or by filling in our on-line form to provide specifics concerning your intervention request.

OVH will consider your request. Our technicians only intervene for the reinstallation of software and initial components. A quotation will be sent for the validation (see prices). The intervention will be made upon receipt of your payment.

There is no support for the installation of: Gd2, MYSQL MAX, mail server (other than QMAIL), Apache 2...
